Sleeper Mortuary: A Legacy of the Dead

A Midwest Paranormal Deep Dive
Some buildings remember everything. Established in 1886 by Lyman Sleeper, the Sleeper Mortuary served its community through tragedy, loss, and nearly a century of service. By the time its doors closed for good in 1999, more than 2,600 families had entrusted their final goodbyes to these halls. In 2025, the building was purchased with a singular purpose: to preserve its history and its stories not as a business, but as a living record of those who passed through its doors. Now, for one intense night, you are invited inside to investigate what was left behind.

"The entire first floor remains frozen in time. In the original viewing room, artifacts like this antique carriage and casket serve as physical anchors to the 2,600 families who once sought closure within these walls."
